A fidget toy,
Designed to relieve stress and maintain concentration through familiar actions taken from everyday objects.
Bart is made of veneers with different properties and colors and its shape was inspired by simple pebbles.
Fidgeting is a response to anxiety or boredom.
Anxious fidgeting occurs because the body has elevated levels of stress hormones, which are prepping your muscles for sudden exertion.
fidget toys are often used to provide sensory input in a minimally distracting way. They can help improve concentration and attention to tasks by allowing the brain to filter out the extra sensory information.

Designed during the first year as part of a toy course.
The material I was asked to work with was cardboard.
The choice to work with cardboard in layers made it possible to create small mechanisms, inserts and to think in a three-dimensional way

During the semester I studied in Budapest, I participated in a course where the starting point was working with veneer. I chose to continue developing the toy project. The process began with a reanalysis of the actions and mechanisms I will use alongside the general form

After thinking about the new features I continued to create sketches and models in search of a neutral form as much as possible. The latest models and the final product were designed for laser cutting, with the help of files, the toy can be created systematically and in different materials.
